Welcome to another wonderful Wednesday of insight and inspiration. And of course, a bit of fun as well (after all, it can’t ALL be serious all the time)! I am so glad to have you with me on this journey of self-discovery, creation, and action.

One of the most important things that anybody can do when on a journey of any kind is to take a moment every now and then to reflect, review, and revisit what it is that the quest is all about. That is, to get in touch with everything and restate what it is that you’re doing and why. A re-affirmation of who you are, what you do, and why you do it is essential every now and then. It helps you remember why you started and why you go on.

My friends, that is what we’re going to do today. Allow me to share with you my personal Mission Statement….and why I want to include you on my path. In short, who I am, what I am doing here on this blog, this website, and this business, and why I am doing it all. And most of all, what it can do for you.

Here we go! (Which, according to my Mom, was my first complete sentence!)

What would it be like to be doing something every day that not only lights you up but also helps you share your gifts with the world?

What if this could be your business? (You know, like, your JOB? Only your business?)

If you’d love to make what you do every day into a way of living your purpose, if you’re tired of planning your next vacation just to escape your current life situation, and if you’re ready to make the leap into the world of Creative Entrepreneurship and finally find a way to make your passion is your business (as cliche as THAT sounds) then you’re in the right place.

If that is you–if you want to have a business of your own on your OWN terms–then we need to hang out more. If you are not sure about what you want your business to be, if you’re head is full of ideas but none of them are taking shape, then we should talk. If you’re afraid of what might happen and what people might say if you actually made the leap, and if that very thing tends to stop you when you start to dream, then we DEFINITELY need to get together more often!

I help aspiring Creative Entrepreneurs get clear on what they want their business to be, get past the fears and doubts, and take their first big leap. Plain and simple. But oh…so…important!

Getting your idea out of your heart and into the world doesn’t have to be so scary. You just have to figure out what it actually is and take it from there. I know, I know, “DUH!”, right? But that part of the process isn’t always as simple as it sounds. It is worth taking the time and the energy to REALLY determine what your idea is, how it’s going to work, and how you’re going to get there. When you know–really know–what it is that you want to do, it is so much easier to make a plan and make it all “real”. Simple but not always easy. That’s what I can help you do.

If you’re knowing that you want to make the big leap but something is holding you back, if you’re afraid of what this kind of change could mean in your everyday life, to your family, and to you yourself, if you’re feeling scared of making the first move, that’s OK. I can help with that too. (Just so you know, that happens to everyone!)

I want to help you get creative, get inspired, and make plans to make your debut as the creative entrepreneur that you know you are. I want to help you set the foundation for your dream business, because without that, nothing will change. The first steps are crucial, especially if this is all new to you. But you can take them.

If you believe that you were made for something out of the ordinary, that something special awaits you, that there is something you can create that’ll make you jump out of bed every morning with excitement (even on Mondays!), then you’re in the right place.

Here I share my ideas, my inspiration, and all the practical stuff to get you going. I want to help when you have questions, hear about your ideas, and inspire you to keep on going even when it gets challenging. In short, I want to help you be you–and have fun doing it. I don’t want to see fear stop you. I don’t want doubt to hang you up. And I don’t want to see your dreams fall by the wayside.

You can do this. I can help!

I am so glad to have you here as part of my community. I want to provide the best feedback, inspiration, and help that I can for all of you. I encourage you to comment, ask questions, and join in the fun as much as you like. Nothing would make me happier than to see you succeed, and in being here you’ve taken the first step!

Now, to that end, what can I do for you? What are you looking for right now? Are you struggling to sort out your idea? Do you have an idea but don’t know where to go with it? Or maybe you just need a little push to get yourself out there? Let me know–I am here to help you and I want to see you succeed. Hit me with a comment!

Great post this AM! The biggest challenge I seem to face is “analysis paralysis”. What do you find works best for you when you have lined out in your mind (perhaps that is the issue?) all the things that “will certainly go wrong” with your vision/plan?? Gotta
admit, this stops me more often than any other issue …. Would love to hear what
you do when this happens…. Thank you in advance!

Great question! I have found that there are many ways to approach this. One of them is seeing any situation as having a right to the action but not the result, in other words, detachment from outcome. Another is to look at a situation, determine what triggers fears, and then, as Danielle LaPorte once said, “give faith to the opposite”. Whatever means is used, however, I have had the most success with simply taking some action with something and seeing where it goes rather than think about possible outcomes too much. Even if it is just a little step, it is helpful to jump in and take an action step, then take it from there! 😉

Excellent ! Thank you for the tips! It seems that we take a lot of ego investment in outcomes… Recognizing that in ourselves is a great step toward being free of that self-imposed burden!
